The AX082800 power converter operates from 18 to 36Vdc and provides 250 Watts output power that is suitable for use in rugged applications, such as high-power radios in mining machines. It can also be used for charging/cranking battery-based systems in off-highway equipment, power generator set control systems, and oilfield equipment. It is isolated and has a typical efficiency of 92%.
This IP-67 rated unit is EMI/EMC compliant and can be used in even the harshest of conditions. Protections include thermal protection for over temperature, reverse battery, over and under-voltage protection, and short circuit and overcurrent protection. It operates from -40 to 85 °C (-40 to 185 °F).
